CHAMBERS DAM AND RESERVOIR
PHASE 1 AND 2
Parker, CO
Working with the Arapahoe County Waste Water Authority (ACWWA), Fiore & Sons, Inc. completed both Phase 1 Remediation (raise bottom and slope steepening) and Phase 2 Liner Installation. Employee manpower for the project meant 127 total Fiore employees worked 17,356 hours on Phase One and 86 Fiore employees worked 10,844 hours on Phase Two.

DESANTI RECHARGE FACILITY

This project included mass excavation to the aquifer at almost 40 feet below existing ground surface. Major dewatering wells ensured a safe excavation and sufficient drainage gravel could be installed.

DILLON RESERVOIR ENLARGEMENT

Fiore & Sons, Inc. worked to expand Dillon Reservoir from 102 acre-feet to 288 acre-feet of water storage, removing 25,000 CY of existing embankment, 25,000 CY of unclassified excavation, and 93,000 CY of controlled embankment.

SEDALIA LANDFILL
Sedalia, CO
Fiore & Sons, Inc. completed the excavation, installation of liner and leachate collection systems and related construction for cell 5, Sedalia Recycling Center and Depository, Douglas, County, Colorado. Other work included subgrade preparation, installation of low-permeability soil liner, drainage layer, and temporary cell separation berm.

PAWNEE EVAPORATION POND A

The scope of work included all earthwork and piping support to allow installation of a new liner system. Services for all clearing, grubbing and associated earthwork, installation of secondary geomembrane liner, leak detection sump and drainage channel were provided. Work performed for backfilling anchor trench excavations, regrading perimeter and surveying was as required.

RKM POND RELINING

The RKM pond relining project consisted of constructing a new evaporation pond, the removal of sludge, the re-grading of two existing evaporation ponds, and the installation of a new double membrane geo-liner system with a leak detection system on all three evaporation ponds.
