Description of Work:

Denver Mart, a mecca for local hobbyists, was demolished and will be replaced with a Pivot Denver, a nearly 500,000-square-foot industrial complex by developer Westfield Company. Opened in 1965, the Denver

Merchandise Mart, is located at the northeast corner of Interstate 25/58th Avenue interchange. This multi-building complex, surrounded by a massive parking lot, has hosted trade shows and similar events. It’s also been home to a number of tenants who operate wholesale showrooms — some 400, according to Denver Mart’s website. Fiore & Sons, Inc. is working with Murray & Stafford to complete Demolition & Abatement at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Scope of work includes, signing off on permits required by Colorado State Department of Health & Environmental, requesting public utility locates, and mobilization of equipment for required work. Fiore & Sons, Inc. will also demolish all structures to grade, haul all non-recyclable demolition rubble to landfill for disposal, remove foundations, transport recyclable rubble (all concrete) to recycling facility, remove all asphalt paving, concrete paving, curb & gutter, wrought-iron fencing, and specified existing utilities.
